Our History
Listen and Talk was founded in 1996 and began as a therapy center with 13 children and just four staff. Listen and Talk has grown to become an acclaimed organization -- the largest of its kind in Washington State-- with a staff of 19 serving over 180 families.
Our Staff
Our professional staff has broad expertise in early childhood and deaf education, speech language pathology, and auditory verbal methods. Listen and Talk collaborates with school districts, community partners, and the Center for Childhood Deafness and Hearing Loss to provide children with hearing loss and their families with high quality intervention and education support.
Listen and Talk Family Voices
Listen and Talk Family Voices is an active Parents Group that fosters collaboration between current and alumni families across our various programs. Members share experiences, lead fundraising initiatives, enjoy networking events, and work together to promote a community of stewardship for Listen and Talk.
