Parent Infant Program

The Listen and Talk Parent-Infant Program is for children younger than 3 years and consists of two parts-Auditory-Verbal Therapy, which takes place in natural environments, and Parent -Toddler Play Groups, which take place at Listen and Talk.

At Listen and Talk, we believe that the family is a child's most important teacher. Our Early Intervention Specialists conduct regular home visits to coach individual families about how to support their child's listening and spoken language progression. Families gain an understanding of the process of listening and talking. Then through modeling and practice, they continue to teach their child to respond to and interpret sound in a meaningful way. These sessions build a foundation upon which language learning will continue throughout a child's daily life.

Listen and Talk's Parent-Toddler Group provide opportunities for children and families learn from each other, and from staff members and guest speakers who present on topics important to families.
