Children who are deaf or hard of hearing and children who have normal hearing learn side-by-side in our Blended Classrooms. Highly skilled teachers use auditory strategies throughout the day to help students develop listening skills and fluent spoken language. All children in our classrooms benefit from small class sizes, high-quality sound systems, and a language-rich environment provided by specially trained educators.
Listen and Talk’s Blended Classrooms are also available to children with typical hearing. Our curriculum uses auditory strategies to develop the fluent use of spoken language and listening skills for children with and without hearing loss. We rely on a cognitive approach that allows children to develop critical thinking skills, social skills, and self-advocacy skills while mastering concepts and pre-academic skills that lead to later success throughout their lives.

Half-Day Preschool
2 ½ hours on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
Children are 3 to 3 ½ years old by August
Full-Day Preschool
5 and 1/2 hours on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
Children are 3 – 4 years old
Full-Day Pre-K
6 hours on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
3 and 1/2 hours on Wednesday
Children are 4 ½ to 5 years old by August
