Listening and Spoken Language (LSL) Therapy sessions address the intense work needed to develop listening and spoken language skills for children with all degrees of hearing loss when following an auditory-verbal approach.

At Listen and Talk, children typically participate in 45-minute sessions with a speech-language pathologist (SLP) or LSLS and a family member. Some families may receive additional LSL therapy to meet their child’s unique needs, while other situations may require fewer individual sessions. The number of individual sessions per week is linked to the child’s communication development/educational needs.
