Frank Statkus
Frank has been associated with Listen and Talk as a Board member for eight years and Board Finance Committee member for four years. He became involved with the school when his granddaughter Morgan was diagnosed with progressive hearing loss and subsequently began preschool with Listen and Talk.
Over time, thanks to Listen and Talk, Morgan learned to use hearing aids and was able to transition to kindergarten with her age group. As a gymnast, she now represents her Mt Si team at meets across the country.
Frank retired from the Boeing Co. after 35 years. As Engineering Sr Vice President he managed many military airplane development Programs and later was VP of Technology for commercial programs including the 787 airplane development. He holds BS, MS and Professional Aerospace Engineering degrees from the University of Missouri and is a graduate of the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Frank and his wife, Barbara, live in Redmond, WA. where they enjoy family activities, northwest boating and antique classic cars.
