Steven Zwerin currently serves as the President of the Board of Trustees for Listen and Talk. He has been involved with the organization since 1999. Steve has a severe to profound hearing loss and wears bilateral cochlear implants. 40+ years ago, he benefited from an organization similar to Listen and Talk. That early intervention was instrumental in enabling him to receive a mainstream education and become a lawyer.

Steve is immensely proud to be part of an incredible organization that enriches the lives of hearing impaired children and their families. Through Listen and Talk, these children are able to achieve their fullest potential. The sky is truly the limit for them, thanks to the wonderful staff and leadership at L & T.

Steve is the Director of Human Resources Investigations for the City of Seattle. He is also a lecturer for the University of Washington’s paralegal program.

He loves to travel and experience new adventures with his wife and kids. He enjoys reading a wide range of books, and tackling puzzles of all kinds: Sudoku, New York Times crosswords, and jigsaw. An eternal optimist (or hopelessly gullible), he still holds out hope that the Mariners will one day win the World Series.
