What is Listening and Spoken Language?

Listening and Spoken Language is an approach that relies on newborn hearing screenings, supportive intervention, and hearing technology to empower children with hearing loss to listen and communicate verbally with the surrounding world. Listen and Talk families partner with highly-specialized providers to utilize auditory-verbal strategies that support their child’s language development.

As the weather gets warmer, Listen and Talk's Birth to Three program is excited to host Playdates in the Park. This summer we will host three opportunities for families enrolled in the B-3 program to meet up at the park to meet one another and enjoy some fun in the sunshine! Days, times, and locations are listed below. All families are welcome to attend any or all of these playdates.

July 11th from 9:30-11 a.m. at Willis D. Tucker Community Park - 6705 Puget Park Dr, Snohomish, WA 98296 (Snohomish County)

August 5th from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Seward Park - 5900 Lake Washington Blvd S, Seattle, WA 98118 (King County)

August 25th from 9:30-11:30 at Edgemont Park - 11001 24th St E, Edgewood, WA 98372 (Pierce County)
